It has been a while since the last App-V User Group 2015 and recently Login Consultants has published the recordings of the sessions. The App-V User Group is a conference where you can learn from the knowledge and experiences of the App-V experts, also known as Microsoft’s Most Valued Persons (MVP’s), from all over the world. Over 100 people from 14 different countries attended the event which is exactly what we want to achieve: bringing international App-V users from end user companies together and share the do’s and don’ts. This blog post contains all the session recordings of the App-V User Group 2015.
I’m pleased to announce GAP-IT v1.0 is released. GAP-IT is a free tool which has the ability to provide an administrator extra insight in the App-V 5.0 publishing times. These times are reported per individual package which is useful information for further package optimizations. GAP-IT can be download for free right here!
I’m pleased to share I received Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award.
I want to thank my friend Ment van der Plas who joined the Project VRC team for the App-V research. We created a plan during TechED 2013 in Madrid, and now can say our plan was well executed. Thank you Ment in believing in my ambitions which included presenting at Microsoft TechED.
During the European App-V User Group 2015 I presented a session about a new product called Login PI. This session was all about how to use Login PI to monitor the user experience and availability of App-V delivered applications. This presentation will be published in the upcoming weeks. In the product demo I used a script to verify if publishing has timed out. Within this blog post I will share how to check if the App-V publishing has timed out with powershell.
